2024 Outlook from 
New QB, Same Old Blues
After four years as an effective deep threat for Josh Allen, Davis now finds himself in Jacksonville on a three-year, $39M deal. The former fourth-round pick from UCF never quite broke out as many expected, but was nonetheless a crucial part of the Bills high-octane offense over the past few years. While Davis has flashed a lot of ability, notably his four-touchdown playoff game in Arrowhead, the reality is he is one of the most inconsistent producers in all of fantasy football. The term "boom or bust" was made for a guy like Davis, who can torch a good secondary for 120 yards and two scores, but will then follow up that performance with one catch for eight yards the very next week. With a downgrade at quarterback, it's hard to see Davis being more than what he was in Buffalo, which is a flex prayer and occasional DFS value in the right matchup. The good news is that Calvin Ridley - Jacksonville's burner from last season - is off to Tennessee, but the organization did choose to draft Brian Thomas Jr. from LSU in the first round who profiles as a similar pass-catcher to Davis. Slot-master Christian Kirk is also still in town and will demand his usual 22%+ target share. Consider Davis no more than a fringe WR3 and risky flex option yet again for this upcoming season.
